Delete your Decibel Meter: dB Noise Meter data
Decibel Meter has no accounts. Almost everything it keeps is stored only on your phone, and you can delete it yourself at any time.
Data on your phone
- One measurement: open History, tap the measurement and tap Delete. Its audio recording, if any, is deleted with it.
- Several measurements: in History, tap the selection icon (or long-press a measurement), choose them and tap Delete.
- Everything: uninstall the app, or go to Settings > Apps > Decibel Meter > Storage > Clear data. This deletes your History, audio recordings and settings.
Photos and videos you saved to your gallery are regular files in your gallery; delete them there.
Data held by the services we use
Usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) are linked to a random app instance identifier, not to your name or email. To ask us to delete them, email [email protected] with the subject "Decibel Meter data deletion". We will delete the data we can associate with your request within 30 days and confirm by email.
Without a request, analytics data is deleted automatically after at most 14 months and crash reports after at most 90 days.
