Free local radio from across the United States, one swipe away from your home screen. Open the radio panel, pick a station and it plays. That's it.

How do I listen?

• Swipe right on your home screen to open the radio panel, or tap the radio card on the home screen.
• Tap any station to play it. The player appears at the bottom: tap the button to pause, or tap the player to see what's playing.
• Use the bar under the search to see your Favorites, Recent, Near me, Popular, or browse by State, City, Genre or the FM / AM dial. Or search by name, city or frequency (for example 98.7).
• Tap the heart to save a station to Favorites.
• The radio keeps playing with the screen off. Use the notification, the lock screen or your Bluetooth controls to pause or skip.
• Use the Sleep timer on the Now playing screen to stop the radio after 15 minutes to 1½ hours.

A station doesn't play

Stations broadcast their own streams and sometimes go offline. The app will tell you and offer a similar station. If a station keeps failing, write to [email protected] with its name so we can fix it.

Why does my home screen look different?

Radio App: FM & AM Radio USA is a home screen app. All your apps are still there: swipe up to see every app. To go back to your previous home screen, open the radio panel menu and choose Switch back to my old home screen, or change it in your phone's Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app.

For radio stations

We are a directory: we play your public stream directly and never host, record or rebroadcast audio, and we never insert ads into your audio. To correct your listing or remove your station, write to [email protected] with your station name. Removals are handled promptly.
